The Childrens Museum has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy.  The following discloses our information gathering & dissemination practices for this web site: thechildrensmuseum.ca/webstore.

Our site's order form requires users to give us contact & shipping information (like their name, address & email address), & financial information (like their account or credit card numbers).  We may use customer contact information from the registration form to send the user promotional material only from The Childrens Museum.  The customer's contact information is also used to contact the visitor when necessary.  Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below.

Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user's credit card for products & services.  The Childrens Museum staff will never see credit card numbers or expiry dates because all transactions are processed by Moneris.

Security

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse & alteration of the information under our control.

Credit card information is entered on a secure page hosted by Moneris Solutions.  No credit card information is transmitted to The Childrens Museum.

No confidential credit card information is transferred by email.

Choice/Opt-out

Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us at the point where we request information about the visitor.

This site gives users the following options for removing their information from our database to not receive future communications or to no longer receive our service.
